Who they are

Cover Yours are an insurance broker based in Paraparaumu, advising clients across New Zealand on life, disability, health and business cover. Marc Hamilton runs it.

Brokers sit between the customer and the insurer, which means they are advising rather than selling a product of their own.

What we did

Insurance has a trust problem before anyone reads a word. Nobody enjoys buying it, most people do not understand what they are buying, and the industry has spent decades earning its reputation.

The answer was to put the process on the page. Cover Yours work through five defined steps, from establishing the relationship through to implementing the recommendation, and making that visible does more for confidence than any amount of reassuring copy. A visitor can see exactly what happens and in what order before they pick up the phone.

The four cover types each get their own page, because someone worrying about a mortgage if they cannot work is asking a completely different question to someone protecting a business. The site had to answer both without making either read the other's page first.
